Meet the founder
I built PropertyMetrics NZ because I couldn't find a free, honest tool for analysing investment properties in New Zealand. Most platforms were behind a paywall, stripped of meaningful data, or designed for Australia — not the NZ market.
So I built one from scratch. Using official sources — LINZ, MBIE, Stats NZ and GeoNet — I created the tools I wished existed: a yield calculator that accounts for real NZ costs, market rent estimates from actual tenancy bond data, and suburb-level insights for every major city.
Built and run from Mount Maunganui. Everything is free during early access — because every Kiwi investor deserves access to the same quality data, regardless of budget.
