Why is screening free but the report paid?
Screening costs us almost nothing to run, so charging for it would be rent-seeking. Composing the full report costs us real money every time — it is assembled, checked and cited per site. You pay for the part that costs something to make.
Which councils do reports cover?
Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Napier, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Tauranga and Wellington City. If your site's council isn't covered, the screener says so up front and there is nothing to buy.
What exactly does Property Watch alert me to?
Movements in your suburb's median rent from tenancy bond data, and updates to the council planning layers your saved parcel was screened against. Rent alerts currently cover the Auckland suburb index; rule alerts cover all nine live councils.
Can I cancel Pro?
Any time, from your account, no conversation required. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
